For example: 1 ENT Surgeon + 4 Audiologists + 8 Habilitationists + Modern Hearing Technology
= 200 babies with hearing loss may learn to listen and speak in 2-3 years.
These professionals will undergo a combination of in-person and on-line training which, along with a modern hearing technology package, may allow 200 newborn babies with hearing loss to learn to listen and speak over two to three years. An early start will ensure the best outcomes. Children who start later than six months of age may take longer than two to three years to learn to listen and speak, depending on a number of factors.
