Hyshot Rocket Lifts Off. Hear and Say WorldWide Launches Internationally. The University of Queensland Hyshot Rocket was launched at Woomera in November 2005 with a large sign on its side to celebrate the start of a new life for children who are deaf globally.

On Wednesday the 8th of March 2007, Dr Vinton G. Cerf presented “Internet, Infinity and beyond” at the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre. Dr Cerf’s presentation was in Australia to officially official launch Hear and Say WorldWide. Vinton G. Cerf is vice president and chief Internet evangelist for Google. In this role, he is responsible for identifying new enabling technologies to support the development of advanced Internet-based products and services from Google. He is also an active public face for Google in the Internet world.

Hear and Say WorldWide in Russia - At the invitation of Cochlear A.G. and Istok-Audio, Russia, Hear and Say WorldWide visited Moscow in March 2007 for the second Auditory-Verbal practice workshop for 35 participants from every corner of Russia and the Ukraine. The professional trainees were involved in the early stages of Russia’s cochlear implant program using the Australian Cochlear Ltd technology. Hear and Say Centre Managing Director and Founder, Dimity Dornan, trained with Russian experts who were learning how to achieve the 93% integration in regular schools that the Hear and Say Centre is able to achieve with its Australian children.
